普利策奖获得者Jonathan Kaufman 访问我院并作讲座

2008年6月26日上午，美国资深记者，普利策奖获得者Jonathan Kaufman在复旦大学新闻学院举办题为《21世纪媒体角色—美国视角与中国视角》的讲座，并于当日下午与新闻学院师生举行行圆桌讨论，就美国选举中新媒体的运用，汶川大地震的媒体报道等问题进行了深入而细致的探讨。Jonathan Kaufman先生的来访促进了新闻学院师生与美国新闻业界一线媒体的交流，令师生们受益匪浅。

Pulitzer Prize winning writer, editor for the Wall Street Journal Mr. Jonathan Kaufman have been to School of Journalism, Fudan University on July 26th, 2008. After a lecture entitled The Role of the Press in the 21st Century--An American Perspective, A Chinese Perspective in the morning, he also hosted a round table discussion in the afternoon, during which he has made a deep and thoughtful discussion with Journalism school professors and students about the usage of new media in the American presidential election, the coverage of the Wenchuan Earthquake etc. The participants considered Mr. Jonathan Kaufman’s visit as a good opportunity for communication and mutual understanding.
